Daria Krasnova

Costume designer

Daria Krasnova (1978) is a costume designer and illustrator located in Israel.
During her studies in art, fashion, and design, Daria focused on color, structure, and materials.
Daria’s previous projects include constructing high-end designers’ clothes and gowns, and creating her own couture lingerie label, Si Señor. Her designs have appeared in boutiques and fashion productions, and have been used to illustrate poems and in different theater plays.
In her creative process Daria explores the sensitivity of gesture, sound, material, motion, and form in expanse and how they become art. These themes and fabrics are woven together to form passion and have been used in collaborations with dance and music artists and appeared in the costumes of Maitri, Lizistrata, Victims & Images, Calypso and more.
According to Daria: “I am fascinated by how life is assembled out of fragments, nuances and moments, which lead me into a deeper understanding of communication between human beings”.
She collaborated with Shirly Barbie in the process of MAITRI, and created costumes for Movement Exhibition 2022.
