BODYMIND Seniors places special emphasis on breath, mobility, flexibility, and self-care, empowering individuals to realize their full potential at any age.

BodyMind makes physical work natural and enjoyable. It reveals mental patterns, helps strengthen and heal the body, enhances existing abilities, and introduces new forms of movement.

During the lessons, the teacher encourages the participants to explore unfamiliar territories, expand the body’s range of possibilities, and experience inner strength. Furthermore, the instructor highlights the power of collective support, nurturing an environment in which individuals can both receive and offer support.

Each session is filled with laughter and a sense of playfulness, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.

About the class

The lessons include improvisation and stretching exercises, and are conducted with the participants seated in chairs.

No movement background is required.

During the lessons, the teacher offers diverse imagery for exploration and encourages the participants to challenge their abilities and self-perceptions.

Lessons are offered as semester-long courses at senior day centers in Tel Aviv in collaboration with the “Hakvutza” association.
