Practicing BodyMind deepens the dancer’s presence, expands their repertoire of movements, and enhances their ability to convey narratives and connect with movement material from therapeutic and personal standpoints.
The practice of BodyMind helps the dancer develop new skills, enhancing their communication with their body. It provides tools to amplify the dancer’s virtuosic range and improve their breath, flexibility, and stability. We emphasize the dancer’s internal dialogue, improving their capacity to seize opportunities on stage and emotionally engage the audience.
BodyMind regards the performer as a whole and accompanies them long after they leave the studio.
About the class
The BODYMIND Dancers class offers a comprehensive framework that allows dancers to embrace their unique artistic expression.
The participants are guided through a series of tasks, are provided with imagery and tools that encourage them to venture beyond the familiar boundaries of self-perception, and are encouraged to form new patterns of movement and develop new physical abilities. All participants actively engage in the instructions, discovering how to subjectively interpret the information provided and carrying out the instructions according to their personal abilities.
BODYMIND Dancers classes are open to experienced dancers aged 16 years or older. They are offered in courses and open workshops.
